Repetition as change, counterpoint, rhythmic ambiance, found sound, aleatoric music, and chance operations; concepts that have consciously and unconsciously informed the songs on Experiments in Relaxation. These are moments of self-indulgence - at times blissed out and serene, at others, jagged and unyielding. Collaborations between my current-self and a past-self that end up arriving at an equilibrium both selves can agree upon. Experiments, if you will. Ones I happen to find relaxing.
